Melanie Sloan Edwards
Vice President of Research

Melanie is the Vice President of Research for FourSquare Research, Inc. She is responsible for managing all aspects of project completion including survey design, data analysis, and forecasting.

Before coming to FourSquare, Melanie served as Vice President of Research at The Winfield Consulting Group. In this role Melanie was responsible for conducting secondary research, coordinating focus groups, designing surveys, performing data analysis as well as giving strategic recommendations. Melanie managed over 200 projects including those for YMCAs, parks and recreation departments, and preschools.

Melanie earned her M.A. in Sociology from University of North Carolina-Charlotte with a concentration in applied research and her B.A. in Sociology from Wake Forest University with a concentration in social statistics.

Throughout her career Melanie has worked with a host of nonprofit organizations including Communities In Schools and the United Way of the Central Carolinas. And she continues her dedication to non-profits through her volunteer work at her local YMCA and United Way.
